Hotel muy bien ubicado, además cuenta con estacionamiento, a unos metros de la parroquia de dolores, cuarto pequeño pero estilo colonial. No tiene elevador, pero eso no fue problema para nosotros. Precio muy accesible, la señora recepcionista muy atenta. Tuvimos un detalle con el clima y nos cambiaron de habitación, resolvieron a tiempo y de manera inmediata. Habitaciones limpias y bonitas. ¿Me volvería a quedar?… por supuesto….

Hotel Casa Pozo del Rayo, un excelente lugar para descansar, ya sea por motivo de vacaciones o por trabajo. Las instalaciones son muy tradicionales, la puerta de entrada está echa de Mezquite, cuenta con estacionamiento y está muy bien ubicado, cerca de la plaza principal de Dolores Hidalgo. Todo está super cerca. Lo mejor es que cuenta con su propia historia, y las habitaciones tienen el nombre de patriotas de la independencia.

Por lo único que le doy cuatro estrellas y no cinco es que la cama rechinaba mucho. Por lo demás todo el hotel es muy bonito, parece museo, tiene estacionamiento y está prácticamente en el centro. En la mera esquina encuentras la casa de José Alfredo Jimenez. El precio nos pareció muy económico. La chica de la mañana es muy amable no así la de la tarde noche. Lo malo es que no tienen servicio de cocina, al menos cuando fuimos estaba cerrada. Tienen spa. Cuesta 450 y tienes que sacar cita. Y es muy amable y si descontractura todo.

Love it! They don't know how to say no. I asked for direction to get coffee, their answer, "I'll get it for you." Where is a laundermat? "We'll do it for you." Excellent soundproofing, comfy beds, fabulous water pressure, smart TVs, refined ambience and so on. Take it from me, I know hotels.
The only hotel right beside the Central that has A/C. I went with my family (fiance, mother, and 5 month old baby) during late April and we really enjoyed our stay. We needed A/C for the baby of course and it held up great despite the heat. The room was extremely cool as we set it. The staff was great from front desk to housekeeping. Our room was not ready when we arrived but they were kind enough to let us leave our luggage and watch it for an hour. When we came back they had already taken it up to our room for us. No food/coffee but the A/C is excellent and the Wi-Fi is good as well. The staff was also more easy going than other hotels nearby where they seem to monitor you like a hawk; keeping tabs on if you bring anyone in and making you turn your room key in every time you leave. This hotel did not do any of that excessiveness. Overall, we loved this hotel experience and it made for our best trip here to visit family yet. The staff was kind, easy going, accomadating, and trustworthy. The price is significantly higher than other nearby hotels but that is simply for the A/C and when in Mexico, it is so worth it! We highly recommend this hotel and it will be our go to spot from now on!
